The plans for the outdoor covered BBQ area were kicked off in 2018, with successful award of a Community Building Partnership Grant from the NSW State Government. Then COVID hit... and following this delay, prices of labour and materials rose, plus a Project Manager was required from the Department of Education. Regardless, with P&C's diligent fundraising (including holding a Bunnings BBQ!) our new BBQ Area is finally complete, with two wonderfully large BBQs, plumbed water and gas, overhead roof, lock-up gate and servery counters. In future we hope to upgrade with fully contained roller shutters! Meanwhile, we have a lot of sausages to sizzle...
