Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a restful and fun holiday break. Weren’t we blessed with some lovely weather over the holidays! As I sat down to write this, I had a look at what we have planned for this term, and goodness me there is a lot going on.

P&C Meeting We will have our first P&C meeting for the term on Wednesday 26 July (next week) in the school library at 7pm. Alternatively, you can join us via our Teams meeting by clicking here.

P&C Federation Member Awards Each year the P&C Federation holds an awards ceremony to recognise the hard work of the P&C volunteers. You are able to nominate! All nominations must be endorsed at a P&C meeting, so you have until next Wednesday to nominate. If you would like to nominate, come along to the meeting next week where we will hold a ‘secret nomination’, or if you can’t make it to the meeting, please send an email to the P&C and we will put forward the nomination on your behalf. There are so many hard working people on our P&C, and I’d like to thank all of them for their hard work!

Education Week PSPS will celebrate Education Week on Thursday 3 August (Week 3). This is a great opportunity for parents, carers, grandparents and friends, to come and see what the students have been doing while at school this year. The P&C will be holding a cake stall for our visitors on the day. If you can, we would love donations of baked goods, to sell (for a donation) to the visitors on the day. We will also be holding a raffle. Cash is preferred, but we will have square readers ready to use for your convenience. We will have a note coming out in the coming days to let us know if you are able to help with the cake stall (either bringing in goods, or helping to serve), or helping to sell raffle tickets. We thank you in advance for your donations of delicious baked good and your time.

Fathers Day We will hold our annual Fathers Day Stall on Thursday 31 August. Gifts will need to be pre purchased via MySchoolConnect. Just look for the Fathers Day Stall Image! The online store is OPEN NOW and will CLOSE on the Thursday 24 August, so get your order in now! All gifts have been sourced from local businesses, or are handmade! Each order also includes and entry into the Fathers Day raffle. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased via MySchoolConnect. We hope the Father figures in the students' lives enjoy the gifts.

Disco This term we will also be holding our annual school Disco. We hope that this will be a super fun night for the kids and the teachers. We are seeking volunteers to join the Disco Committee. Please express your interest to the P&C by sending us an email or a message via our Facebook page. We will be reaching out in the near future for volunteers for the night, so please, put it in your calendars now for Friday 15 September is DISCO NIGHT!

That's all for now, we really hope that you might find some time to volunteer with the P&C this term. As always, there are one off opportunities, or opportunities to join a committee. Any help, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
