Is your child interested in joining our School Band in 2024?
Remind them to attend the performance at school tomorrow and bring home their letter and brochure! Then apply via the form provided! For more info see the Band update in the Newsletter this week. Students currently in Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 are invited to attend a “Welcome to Band” performance by the Training Band tomorrow, Wednesday 13, September at 12.15pm in the Hall. Children need to listen for the announcement at school. Our band provider Engadine Music will gather expressions of interest from students to join the BandTime program and our wonderful school band community in 2024. Each instrument will be demonstrated and students are given the opportunity to select instruments they liked the sound of, via a worksheet during the performance. The worksheets will be collected by BandTime staff. BandTime information letters and brochures will be handed out to all interested students. Parents can then apply via a form on Engadine Music's website. If your child is away or does not give you the letter and brochure tomorrow further information will be detailed in the Band section of this week's newsletter, so be sure to have a look if you are interested. Please also share with friends you think might be interested or missed it. We want to ensure everyone who wants to, has the opportunity to join!
